The Parents:

Peaches, the Dam:  Peaches is a light red colored, large toy poodle.  Her color is attractive due to the shiny highlights.  Recently she has faded to light apricot (almost a cream color), but retains some red on her head.  In the second picture below, you can see the color she is now.  She has a small face, which would be a fault with AKC, but I think it makes her look sweet.  She has the sweetest personality and knows my every mood, comforting me if I am unhappy.  She stays with me in my office and sleeps on the bed at night.  Yes, we have spoiled her, but part of her wonderful personality is genetics.   I am hoping she passes some of her personality on to her puppies.

Riley, the Sire:  Riley is a nice red color, and has not faded much with age.  He came to us by Red Head Willie, and Butter Cup.  He has grown to a size that is larger than Peaches, but that is because he has such long legs.  He stays in the house with Peaches and me, and helps me feed the Kennel every morning.  This dog can run and jump like no other.  He loves to chase squirrels, but minds me very well - always coming back to his duties.  He is unusual in that he takes an interest in his pups making sure they do not misbehave. In the picture below, you can see Riley making sure that Taffy has a clean face.

  Rosie:

Rosie is a red girl, and the smallest pup in the litter.  I would guess a large toy to small miniature (7-8 Lbs).  Our experience with the red poodles that come from Red Head Willie (the grandfather) is that the color will become a clear red with time.   Rosie is the most adventuresome pup in the litter.  She shows no fear as she was chasing the vacuum cleaner when I was try to clean the rug. Pictures are at 6 weeks.
Taffy at six weeks Taffy:

Taffy is a little larger than Rosie, and her color has a peach tone to it. I would guess a large toy to small miniature (7-8 Lbs).  Our experience with the red poodles that come from Red Head Willie (the grandfather) is that the color will become a clear red with time.   Taffy seems to know how attractive she is - she struts around the house.  Pictures are at 6 weeks.
Oliver at six weeks Oliver:

Oliver is a little larger than both Rosie and Taffy, and his color is apricot.  I would guess a large toy to small miniature (8-9 Lbs).  Our experience with apricot puppies from Peaches, is that they keep their color as they grow.  Oliver loves to play with the other pups, and plays with Misty our new Bichon pup (she is much larger.  Pictures are at 6 weeks.

Peaches Red and Apricot Puppies with Riley

Peaches Pups at 25 days
Peaches had four puppies on April 30, 2009.  Two were boys (Oliver and Flame) and two were girls (Rosie and Taffy).  The two girls are a light shade of red, and the boys are apricot.  Peaches was bred the last time to Red Head Willie  and had two beautiful apricot puppies.  We bred her to Ripley this time as he is a darker red than Willie.  Ripley is a son of Willie's by our wonderful Butter Cup.  Peaches is a house dog and stays in my office.  That means that the puppies are in my office as well.  These are spoiled pups.  These puppies are ready now.  Pictures are at six weeks.
All  puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee.  They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed.    They are current on their deworming (Panacure every two weeks) and will get their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old.
You can hold a puppy for $150.00.  If you are interested, please give us a call at 706-538-1003 (not a toll in Atlanta Area, do not dial 1),  (678) 836-6315 (cell phone, or email us at pups@WF-Poodle.com
