Poodles

Puppies:  Windy  had six  puppies January 12, 2009.    We bred Windy to Ojiboo this time to try and get some black and white parti pups.   There were two partis, a tan and white puppy (female), and a beautiful black and white parti (male).  There were four black puppies, two females and two males.  Depending on how long the legs will be, these puppies will be small miniatures to large toys.  The pictures have been lightened so that the facial features do not vanish in a sea of black.  The blacks, at this point are a true, deep black.  Blacks may fade some, and some go all the way to silver.  We will watch the puppies to determine which one will fade.
 

All  puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee.  They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed.    They are current on their de-worming (Panacure every two weeks) and will get their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old.

This is Lacy (sold).  She is a tan parti with markings on her face and head.  Otherwise her whole body is pure white.  She will probably be a small miniature when grown.  Pictures at about three weeks.

This is Bandit (sold).  He is a well marked, black and white parti poodle.  Betty named him bandit, but he has no markings around his eyes.  This is unusual for a parti poodle.  I suspect a small miniature poodle.

This is Sabrina.  She is a deep black color with a white flash on her chest.  There is also a white chin marking.  She looks to have long legs like her mother, so I would suggest she will be a small miniature.

This is Midnight.  She is a deep black color with no markings.  She will probably grow to be a small miniature.

This is Bo-Bo.  He is a solid black puppy with no markings.  Will probably grow to be a small miniature.

This is Boots.  He is a dark black puppy with white socks (boots).  Will probably grow to be a small miniature of 7-8 lbs.  Pictures at three weeks.

Dam:  Windy ( I need a better picture) is a blue poodle.  Blue dogs are a faded black which is almost grey.  They are born blue, that is they do not fade with age.  Windy has a white mis-mark on her chest and belly which she has passed to three of her offspring.  These markings are fairly common in poodles.  Windy is very sweet, somewhat shy, and quiet.  She is proving to be an excellent mother.  The puppies are in a corner of my bedroom, and I almost never hear them cry. 
 

Sire:  The sire, Lord Ojiboo, is a small miniature poodle of about  9 lbs.  He is just over the 10 inches that would make him a toy.  He is a black and white parti poodle with markings on his head and rump.  He also has a small face.  He has been active, as we have puppies coming from  Callie, Isis, Windy, and Lillie..
