Poodles

Puppies:  Opal had three puppies on July 13, 2008.   They were all girls (finally!), one dark chocolate, one black, one a tan brindle.  Opal had a very difficult time having the puppies with the last being delivered dead by C-section.  We spade Opal, so we are looking for a new home for her (please inquire, she is about 3.5 years old).  I estimate the puppies will be small miniatures..
 

All  puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee.  They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed.    They are current on their de-worming (Panacure every two weeks) and will get their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old.

Cher. (sold) Cher is a beautiful brindle puppy with dark brown hair tips and ears.  She also has a white chest and boots.  It all creates a face to fall in love with.  The first two pictures are the most accurate in color.  It is sad that this is Opal's last litter as she produces some of the most interesting puppies.  This puppy is very precocious as she is already eating solid food and walks the length of her 15' enclosure.  From experience, I would say she is going to be a small miniature poodle.  I would love to keep her, but you can sneak her away if you act fast.

Whitney. (sold) Whitney is a solid black female.  So far there is no evidence of fading, but we will have to keep her under observation.  Like her sister, Cher, she loves to roam her enclosure.  If i put my head near her carry-all house, and call her, she comes out to see me.  She is very socialized for her age.  I think she will be a miniature poodle.  She is very friendly an loves to play with Jar Jar from Deidre's litter.  This is a very happy puppy. 

Janet. (sold)  Janet is a solid chocolate puppy without markings.  So far I do not see signs of fading, but it is too soon to tell.  The first two pictures are close to her natural color, but photographing chocolates is problematical.  She is a little more shy then her sisters, but still precocious for her age.  These are intelligent puppies.  She will be a small miniature when grown.
 

Dam:  Dam:  Opal s a  CKC registered Miniature Poodle.  She is an apricot cream color with darker ears.  She is sweet, but shy.  The previous owner of Opal bred her to a red factored sire and got red puppies, but we decided to go for brown (Opal had a brown parent).  Opal was a bit shy of us, but has warmed up since her first litter.  We put her in our laundry room because of her surgery, so he can get up and see us every time we walk through the room.  She has a bit of playfulness and loves to romp in the yard.  She has matured into a good mother after a bit of a bumpy start.  We spayed her after two litters with problems - she just has puppies that are too large for her.

Sire:  Mr Jinx is a medium brown poodle, resisted CKC.  He is an active dog with an excellent personality.  He is very friendly.  He is a bit unusual in that he has almond eyes instead of brown.  The is more information about Mr. Jinx on the Sisters Page.
