Poodles

Puppies:  Mollie had a  litter of six  Bichon Poo puppies October 07, 2008.  We have always bred Mollie to Casper (he is Ice White, large toy poodle) and obtained pure white puppies.  Moliie's last litter is >here<.  This time we decided to try for smaller puppies, so we used a small toy poodle, Mighty Moe.  The results were interesting.  One puppy is almost tan, two are a very light tan, and the rest pure white.  Three boys and three girls.  At least two will be quite small.  The females are on the left (F1-F3) and the males are on the right (M1-M3).  F1 and M2 are pure white, and all the others except for M-3 will probably fade to white.  F1 is very small.  Picture at two weeks. 
 

All  puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee.  They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed.    They are current on their de-worming (Panacure every two weeks) and will get their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old.

This is Misty (F-2)  (sold).  Misty is the Bichon Poo equivalent of a  toy.  She is small.  She has a light cream tint to her coat that will fade to white with age.  Short legs similar to a Bichon.  Pictures at 26 days.  Misty is on the left in all the pictures.  Bichon Poos often have pink noses at this age, they will become black with age. 

This is Muff (F-1) (sold).  She is only slightly larger than Misty above.  Muff is pure white (ignore the first picture as the color is wrong).     Pictures at 26 days.  Bichon Poos often have pink noses at this age, they will become black with age. 

This is Puff (F-3) (sold).  Puff is the largest of the females.  She is all white except her ears witch are tan.  She is marked similar to a tan parti, but Bichons should not have a parti gene.   Pictures at 26 days.  Bichon Poos often have pink noses at this age, they will become black with age. 

This is No-No (M-3)(sold) .  He is the smallest boy in the litter, about the same size as Misty.  He has the most color of any of the puppies, but he will probably fade to white.  His ears may keep some color.   Pictures at 26 days.  Bichon Poos often have pink noses at this age, they will become black with age. 
 

This is Yes Sir (M-2).  He is almost pure white in color and is a medium size.  Pictures at 26 days.  Yes Sir is in the middle in all the pictures.  Bichon Poos often have pink noses at this age, they will become black with age.

This is Maybe (M-1) (sold).  He is the largest boy in the litter, just a little larger than Yes Sir.    Pictures at 26 days.  Maybe is on the right in all the pictures.  He has a light tan color cast that will fade with age.  Bichon Poos often have pink noses at this age, they will become black with age.

Dam:  Mollie   CKC registered Bichon Frise.  She is about 10 lbs, so is small for a Bichon.  Mollie is our first Bichon Frise, and it has been instant love.  She is the consummate lap dog.  She will sit with us for hours, and almost never complains.  It is a rare event when she barks or growls.  She has a way of getting what she wants.  She sneaks into the house off the back porch and then makes herself invisible so that no one will notice.    She has been an excellent mother.  You might note that she is not groomed in the traditional way for Bichon Frises. 

Sire:  Mighty Moe is the smallest male we have and tries hard to be 6 lbs.  He has very long legs and a sweet, but playful nature.  He stays in the house with River and Peaches.  He is a light cream color, which is where the color comes from in the puppies.  He has faded to almost white, and so will the puppies.  He is a great sire producing large litters and small puppies.
