The puppies at three days.

Big Sister's First Litter
Only One Puppy Left, Lennon

Puppies:  Big Sister, one of the two sisters we kept from Muffin's first litter,  had her first litter of five puppies on March 25, 2008.   Three of the puppies were boys and two were girls.    Two are  a dark shade of chocolate, and three are lighter.   The lighter puppies appear to be Cafe Au Late (coffee with milk).  You can see the lighter color in their faces.  Muffin, pictures on the home page, is a cafe au late poodle.  These will all be  small miniature poodles, probably smaller than their mother.  They will be six weeks old on May 06, 2008.

All  puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee.  They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed.    They are current on their deworming (Panacure every two weeks) and will get their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old.

This is  Dolly (sold).  She is one of two females in the litter.  Dolly will be cafe au late like her grandmother Muffin.  Probably will be a small miniature.

This is Carly (sold)She has a rich thick coat of dark chocolate.  She is one of two females in the litter.  A little smaller than her brothers, she probably will be a small miniature.  She is very adventuresome, and loves human contact.  You might notice that she does not appear in the group photos.  She is off exploring.

This is Ringo  (sold) He  has a deep chocolate coat.  He is the little guy in the litter, and though he probably will be a small miniature, he could end up a toy.  .

This is Lennon.  He is cafe au late in color (coffee with milk).  He was born light brown, but he is turning toward the cafe shades.  You can see the color developing in his face.  Muffin, Lennon's grandmother is cafe (there is a picture on the home page).  He probably will be a small miniature.  The first picture is a current picture of Lennon on my front porch.  You can see he has developed into a beautiful cafe au late, miniature poodle.  this is his final color.  He has light colored eyes, similar to his sire.  He is very sweet, a little shy, but loves to play.  We took him in the car the other day, and I was surprised at how well he behaved.

This is McCartney (sold)He is also a cafe au late color (see description for Lennon above).  Probably will be a small miniature.

Dam:  Bid Sister is a  CKC registered Miniature Poodle.  She is a good rich chocolate color.  The pictures show her immediately after she was groomed, but you can see her base color in her ears.  She has faded some to a beautiful light shade of brown.   She is very sweet and loves attention.  She has been a very attentive mother.   There is more information about Sis on the Sisters Page.

Sire:  Mr Jinx is a medium brown poodle, registered CKC.  He is an active dog with an excellent personality.  He is very friendly.  He is a bit unusual in that he has almond eyes instead of brown (see the picture on the right).  He is one our most intelligent dogs we have with a wonderful, sweet personality.  He is very German with strong bones and a stocky build.  The pictures do not do him justice, as he just returned from the groomer. There is more information about Mr. Jinx on the Sisters Page.

This is Muffin, Sister's mother.  You can see the beautiful cafe color in Muffin's coat.
The three puppies in Sister's litter will turn this color.  In the picture on the left, the puppy, Hemmingway, was in one of Muffin's litters.  The puppy in the picture on the right was Precocious.  He reminds me a lot of Ringo from this litter.
