Red Poodle Puppies at the
Anderson's Farm

Amber from Buttercup's first litter as an adult

Butter Cup's Third Litter

All Puppies on Hold

Puppies:  Four puppies born April 13, 2008. Two of the puppies were very small and required special care, and only one of those survived (Rusty).  Ripley, the larger puppy and his brother Riley are a deep rusty red.   From Butter Cup's last litter we know that the rusty color will clear somewhat but not as much as Amber from the first litter did.

Ripley on the left, Rusty in the middle, and Riley on the right.   Rusty loves to be held.

All  puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee.  They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed.    They are current on their deworming (every two weeks) and will got their first vaccination when they are 6 weeks old.

If you are interested, please give us a call at 706-538-1003 (not a toll in Atlanta Area, do not dial 1) or email us at pups@WF-Poodle.com

This is Ripley (sold) He is the largest puppy in his litter.  He will be a large toy when grown.  He has a lot of personality and loves to play.  He and his brothers have had a lot of human contact because of Rusty's problems.   He always comes to see me when I enter his enclosure.  He hops with delight when I come to play with him.

This is Riley (on hold) He is the one in the middle.  Probably a toy poodle when grown.  He is quiet, but sweet for his age.  He is on hold as we plan to keep him to carry on Butter Cup's breeding line.  Butter Cup and Willie have produced some of the best puppies we have sold to date.

This is Rusty. After a check by the veterinarian (who gave him a clean bill of health), we have decided to sell Rusty.  He is a slow developer, but appears now to be normal.  He will be a teacup poodle.  He follows me everywhere I go and loves to be picked up and held.  He is more human oriented than dog oriented, although he is learning to play with the other puppies.

Rusty has had a hard life.  Rusty could not nurse when born, so he had to be fed with a stomach tube.  He had an eye infection that had to be very painful.  The infection probably was the reason he did not nurse.  He is a little guy that will be a small toy (teacup) when grown.

Update: Rusty has grown dramatically and now eats  solid food.  He is getting his baby teeth, probably late because he never nursed.  The eye has healed, and the vet determined he has full eyesight.

The pictures are at 11 weeks - the little guy has grown dramatically.  Please inquire about Rusty, as we want a special home for him.  I have spent a lot of time with this little puppy.

Dame:  Buttercup   CKC registered Toy Poodle.  She is an unusual cream color with red guard hairs.  She has excellent form, with medium legs.  She is about 9 lbs (8" tall), making her a large toy.  We obtained Buttercup from a kennel, where she was anything but friendly, but she now is a sweet and loving lap dog.  She likes to sit in my lap when I do the email in the mornings.  She has been a very attentive mother.  She proves that dogs can be rescued from bad situations and still become good pets.  She is a wonderful color, but I have not figured out how I might replicate it.  This is Buttercup's last litter as she is much older than we realized when we obtained her.  She has produce some of the best puppies we have raised with customers giving us good feedback.

Butter Cup is an excellent mother.  Here she is nursing her first litter.  She is a wonderful red/cream color.

Sire:  Mr. Red Headed Willie  CKC registered red poodle, He is about 7 lbs (about 11" tall).  His name is a misnomer as he has white on top of his head, not red.  Willie has very long legs and is very energetic spending his day roaming his large pen.  He also came from a kennel and remains a bit shy.  I sit with him every day, and he is very upset if I miss a day.  Dogs are not supposed to make long term relationships, but Willie cries for his Butter Cup, these two are totally attached.  We have found Willie a new girlfriend in Deidre,  but it is just not the same.   He is a well proportioned toy poodle with a rich rust red coat and dark ears.  His coat would cord if let grow long.  He passed his color on to his children.  Note that he has held his color with age even in the sun.
