River's Litter -   Puppies Available in about 3 weeks

River  had 3 puppies September 2, 2007.  Two girls and one boy.  They were 6 weeks old last Sunday.   We are already getting calls on these puppies, so reserve one now.  You can reserve a puppy for $150.00.

The puppies:  The three puppies, seen above, are a mixture of brown and black.  On the right, the whole family is shown at play.  River is top left, interloper, Itsy Bitsy, top right, Coffee bottom left, Sheba center with mouth open, and Hershey right.  Hershey is a boy and is solid brown with a hint of a white mismark on his chest.  Coffee is a girl, with a strong, white mismark on her chest, and Sheba is a solid black girl.  At this point we estimate that they will grow to be small miniatures or large toys.  River is 7 lbs and the sire is 5.5 lbs.  These puppies enjoy my company as well as the other house dogs.  We even let them play with the Bichon Poos (about the same age), and they enjoyed them as well.  River plays with her puppies more than any other mother we have had, and I believe this is why they enjoy humans and other dogs.

Coffee Sold in North Carolina Small, female puppy has a large white mark on her chest and white sock feet.  She is a rich brown color as seen in the picture above.  This puppy is just a bundle of joy.  She and her siblings were very easy to socialize, wanting human attention at a very early age.  In the pictures below, you can see her little white feet and white chest.  She is six weeks old, and already she comes to me for attention.  $475.00.  The top two pictures are at six weeks and the bottom two pictures are at 4 weeks.

Hershey Sold in North Carolina. .  Puppy has a faint white mark on his chest and one foot.   He is smaller than his litter mates, so will probably be a toy.  He has stayed Chocolate, so my ideas about a silver beige are wrong.    I put a box in the opening in the gate so his mother can get out but he keeps figuring out how to get out as well.  Soon, Coffee follows his lead and I have two puppies wandering my bedroom.  He is as adventuresome as his sister, Coffee.  $400.00  All pictures except the last one, are at six weeks.

Sheba is a solid black color with a thick coat. She and Coffee are now about the same size, and both will probably be   a large toys or a small miniatures.  Sheba loves to be held and will cuddle with me.  She is more active than her siblings, exploring the house when we let her out.   She also loves to cuddle with her mother.  She has learned to play hide-and-seek with the other puppies by hiding under the bed.  She can be seen sneaking out in the first picture.  As with most black dogs, pictures do not do them justice.  She needs to find a forever family as she has lost her siblings and is all alone.  $450.00

Sheba and Itsy Bitsy (right) and his mother (left).  Itsy is still a puppy herself, but likes to play with River's puppies.  In the pictures above, Sheba is six weeks and below, 4 weeks.  You can see that these puppies were very precocious at 4 weeks.

The Parents:

                     River the Dam

Dam:  River is a toy poodle of about 7 lbs.  Her color is tan cream with extensive white markings.  She has a brown nose, so is actually a brown dog.  She stays in the house with us and has a very sweet nature.  She often sleeps between the pillows on the bed.  She and Peaches have become fast friends and she does not even chase Peaches away from her puppies.

Sire:  The sire, Van Gogh, is a stud dog we obtained from a friend.  He has produced many litters with small puppies.  He is a small toy of about 5.5 lbs.  I am sorry, but I do not have a picture of him.  We went outside our breeding line to obtain some small brown puppies.  We are very pleased with the results, and so we are in the process of obtaining Van Gogh for our kennel.
