Queen Isis' Litter -   All Sold

Queen Isis  seen above feeding her 10 day old puppies.  The puppies were born December 2, 2007. One girl and three boys.    We are already getting calls on these unusual puppies, so reserve one now.  First Emily D. and Eliot are marked only on their heads which is unusual.  Then Emerson has white markings on his legs and chest but is black everywhere else.  Clearly he is not a true Parti Poodle, but his markings have to be the result of the same gene (Parti Poodles are defined as having white over 65% of their bodies).  You can reserve a puppy for $150.00.  The picture above shows Emerson, Whitman, and Emily D at 5 weeks, and the picture below on the right shows Emerson at 6.5 weeks.

The puppies:  I do not normally put up pictures before their eyes open, but I have had requests to see these puppies now.  Please remember that the puppies are not very attractive at this age with broad faces and red skin.  I am pleased with this litter as all the puppies have sweet, calm personalities.  I have yet to hear one bark.

All  puppies come with CKC puppy registration papers and health guarantee.  They have had their tails docked and dewclaws removed.    They are current on their deworming (Panacure every two weeks) and got their first vaccination at 6 weeks old.

These puppies are ready now.   You can hold a puppy for $150.00.  If you are interested, please give us a call at 706-538-1003 (not a toll in Atlanta Area, do not dial 1),  (678) 836-6315 (cell phone, or email us at pups@WF-Poodle.com

Eliot  (sold) He is the precocious puppy in the litter.  Eliot is always exploring.  Black and white parti with black on one side of his head, and a tiny black spot on the other ear.  He will surprise you as he looks completely white from one side, but has black on the other.  The white is the purest white.  He loves to play and has lots of energy.  You can see him chew on my finger in the pictures below.  He is a very friendly puppy, and will be a small miniature at about 8-10 lbs.

We put the two litters together for the pictures.  Eliot particularly liked Baez, the sable puppy from Lady Deidre's litter.

Emily D. (sold) Emily is the only female in the litter, and has very interesting color.  Puppy has a black on both sides of her head, but nowhere else.  Her lips are not colored.  There is a faint indication of a black spot on her back.  You can see Emily D from above in the picture above for Eliot.  She is a quiet puppy than is easy to photograph.   Picture is at 5 weeks.  Remember that black is difficult to photograph, so I had to lighten her head so her eyes did not vanish.  Her head is pitch black.  She will be a small miniature maybe 8-10- lbs.

Emerson (sold)  is a most unusual puppy.  He clearly is a parti poodle as he has far too much white on him to be otherwise, but parti poodles are defined as 60% white.  He has a white chest and front legs.  The rear feet are also white.  He is a playful pup that likes to crawl over my legs and feet.   He has become very affectionate and likes to be right up next to me.  (note he is next to me in most of the pictures).  He loves to have is beautiful chest rubbed, and will roll over for the privilege.   Pictures is at 6.5 weeks.  He will be a small miniature, about 8-10 lbs.  If Emerson had been a girl, I would have keep this puppy.

If you want a loyal, lap dog, Emerson would be the one.  Hard to photograph as he wanted to stay up next to me.

Whitman is a solid black poodle.  He is an active, but affectionate puppy.  He probably will become a silver as his face is developing some light tones.  He looks very much like his mother with that sweet expression on his face.  His color should be very similar.  As Whitman has gotten older, his personality has matured.  He loves to play with the other dogs, and has learned from Peaches how to play with a ball.  He still likes to be held, and will listen when you talk to him.  He has learned to use the dog door and is taking the first steps toward house training.   He will be a small miniature at 8-10 lbs.

The Parents:

                     Queen Isis                                                          Lord Ojiboo

Dam: Queen Isis is a small miniature poodle of the French type (long legs) and thin bones.  She has a small face that make her look dainty.   She is very athletic and loves to run with Patch ( Samoyed x Australian Cattle dog) our rescue dog.  However, she is very sweet and can be very quiet.  She is a miniature poodle of about 10 lbs.  Her color is silver with white markings on her chest and feet.  The picture does not do her justice, as she has lightened up in the last several months.   We did not know she was recessive for the parti gene.

Sire:  The sire, Lord Ojiboo, is a small miniature poodle of about  9 lbs.  He is just over the 10 inches that would make him a toy.  He is a black and white parti poodle with markings on his head and rump.  He also has a small face.  He is not as leggy as Isis, but still loves to run and play in our back yard.  He has been active, as we have puppies coming from him and Callie soon.
